Pavlos Aslanidis fires back at Zoi Konstantopoulou during the Tempi trial
“This trial is turning into a farce. The presiding judge told us around ten o’clock that we would wait for Ms. Konstantopoulou to take her position. The defense attorneys agreed — they have nothing to lose, but we have lost our children. In the end, it took two and a half hours before the court could begin,” said a visibly emotional Aslanidis, adding: “Is this even possible? This is a mockery. We traveled 400 kilometers, we have been bled dry financially, our hearts have bled, our souls, everything — and some lawyers show no respect for any of it. Is it really possible that we had to wait two and a half hours for the proceedings to start, for one defense attorney — Ms. Konstantopoulou? We are not interested in their party politics.” “This is the courtroom for the Tempi case. Because of situations like this, most of the parents have already left previous hearings, and eventually there will be no one left in the courtroom. The presiding judge told us it will not happen again — I demand that it does not happen again,” Aslanidis concluded.
