Hatzidakis: Kifisos bypass among first innovative proposal projects
Speaking on Wednesday morning (10/6) on SKAI radio, he explained that the innovative proposal system provides “the ability for a company to propose a project followed by a tender, in which both the proposing company and competing firms can participate. If the company that made the proposal fails to win the project, it can receive compensation for its proposal.”
Kostis Hatzidakis emphasized that the Kifisos bypass will not be completed in one month, but will begin soon. Additionally, he noted that authorities are examining the decongestion of the southern axis and the connection of Katehaki-Karea via tunnel under Mount Hymettus toward Vouliagmeni.

In conclusion, Kostis Hatzidakis emphasized that private sector companies will purchase waste and utilize it for electricity generation, as is done in many European countries.
