Application submissions for the Rural Foundation’s vacation programs, social tourism, and cultural activities continue until Monday, May 25, according to the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family and OPEKA. Businesses (accommodations, hydrotherapy centers, thermal springs, travel agencies, children’s camps, bookstores-publishing houses, and theaters) wishing to participate in the LAE/OPEKA 2026 programs can submit their Application/Declaration of Participation through the respective specialized electronic applications (for social and thermal tourism programs, excursion programs, children’s camping programs, and free book provision programs) or by using the appropriate forms (for thermal tourism programs and free theater ticket provision programs), available on the OPEKA website.

Rural Foundation social tourism: Special offers
It should be noted that this year, specifically for social and thermal tourism programs, there are special offers for Evia, the islands of the North and South Aegean, and Evros.
This year’s Rural Foundation programs will be implemented nationwide from June 4, 2026, through February 28, 2027.
The launch of the next period’s programs (2027-2028) is scheduled to begin much earlier, in April 2027.
