The weather scenario is expected to change dramatically starting today (21/4), resembling autumn more than spring conditions. According to meteorologist Thodoris Kolydas, the weather shift is expected to begin today (21/4), with rain and thunderstorms hitting Macedonia and Thrace.
Weather: Thodoris Kolydas’ forecast
According to him: “the phenomena will likely be locally intense starting tonight and will continue tomorrow morning as we’ll have the passage of a cold front. Snow in the mountains has been emphasized heavily – as if winter is coming. What’s noteworthy is that we’ll have significant rainfall over the next two days and temperatures will drop temporarily.”
Thodoris Kolydas also mentions that temperatures in Thessaloniki will reach around 14 to 15 degrees. “In Thessaloniki, for example, besides the significant rainfall, tomorrow we’ll have maximum temperatures around 14 to 15 degrees, before temperatures rise again later.
The situation will be similar in Athens, with less rainfall of course, and a temporary temperature drop on Thursday (23/4) to 17 degrees Celsius. You can follow the remaining forecast data in the accompanying video with predictions through the middle of next week. Good morning,” concludes Thodoris Kolydas.
