Former advisor to Alexis Tsipras, Nikos Karanikas, has denounced the opposition as “useless” and “incompetent,” criticizing them for focusing on whether Deputy Minister Lazaridis has a degree rather than addressing substantive policy issues. He commented on the barrage of opposition party announcements regarding the Deputy Minister of Agricultural Development, stating they have “dedicated their opposition to moralizing” and “focus on secondary matters instead of critiquing the government’s work.”
Nikos Karanikas’s social media post
“Useless and incompetent opposition. In their nightmare. (In 2 minutes)
The opposition of SYRIZA Near Tsipra and PASOK is so unreliable and incompetent that they have dedicated their opposition to moralizing, to corruption which is a matter for prosecutors, and now lately they have focused on whether Lazaridis has a degree.
They deal with secondary matters because they cannot deal with primary issues by critiquing the government’s work.
They are not capable of doing politics and they mess around with pompousness and pretensions.
In their nightmare.
We don’t know what they say about the bills and changes that have been made and will be made.
Maybe they made some two-sentence announcement to tell us they completely disagree with the bill which they obviously didn’t read since the government is the worst as they say and they consider it invalid.
Neither deconstruction since it requires analysis of points and they are incapable of such a thing.
Direct cancellation. Easy and impressive. No confrontation, no different narrative.
Otherwise they cheer that the far-right changed instead of a pro-EU government in Hungary after about two decades from a right-wing pro-EU government.
Good thing but… Mercy.
Really useless and deserve to be found outside parliament.
Just things that must become reality.
I present to you what the incompetent and useless opposition with standard-bearers of decline SYRIZA Near Tsipra PASOK did not deal with seriously, publicly, reliably alternatively and massively, i.e. online.

Personally without secretarial support and only with the help of the internet and TV I managed to present the government agenda that the opposition avoids because it is useless and incompetent besides being unreliable.
And it’s not only their parliamentary group that doesn’t have the ability to deal seriously with government policy, it’s also the members and followers equally stupid and incompetent because they’ve thrown themselves into moralizing and online abuse characterizing the government toxically and not politically with arguments so that we voters, the people, can learn what they disagree with, what they agree with and what the government is doing wrong.
What do they propose!?
Useless opposition and unreliable.
This is the main reason why we unaffiliated citizens with political criteria and interest in our lives and our country should create conditions for a capable and reliable opposition that will separate itself from the decline of Tsipra SYRIZA Near PASOK. The future is in our hands.”
