Iranian media announced the death of the head of intelligence services of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards, Majid Khatemi. According to the same announcement, Khatemi was killed in an American-Israeli bombing.
Brigadier General Khatemi was killed in Iran “at dawn” in the morning, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) reported in a statement distributed through the Fars news agency. The funeral of the Iranian general will be announced later, the statement said.

Khatemi served as head of the Information Protection Organization and the Intelligence Organization of the Revolutionary Guards.
