The Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah organization has released video footage from the moment of the attack on the US military base in Baghdad. The attack on the military base occurred on Friday (March 14, 2026) and triggered alarms in Iraq, just hours after the bombing of the US embassy in Baghdad.
The video shows the drone infiltrating the military base and recording footage of the facilities before crashing into a building and exploding.
The Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah organization claimed responsibility for the attack. This marks the first time the organization has successfully used a drone, bypassing US defense systems.
