The court imposed sentences on 42 convicted individuals ranging from 4 years imprisonment to 13 years incarceration.
The “directors” of the criminal organization, namely Nikos Michaloliakos, Ilias Kasidiaris, Ioannis Lagos, Christos Pappas, Ilias Panagiotaros, and Giorgos Germenis were sentenced to 13 years incarceration, while Artemis Matthaiopopulos received 10 years incarceration, as in the first instance.
The former MPs Chrysovalantis Alexopoulos, Michalis Arvanitis, Eleni Zaroulia, Dimitris Koukoutsis and Stathis Boukuras received sentences ranging from five years imprisonment to seven years incarceration.
Nikos Michaloliakos’ wife, Eleni Zaroulia, was sentenced to five years incarceration, while the former MPs Alexopoulos, Arvanitis, Gregos, Koukoutsis, and Boukuras were sentenced to five years imprisonment, with their lawyers requesting suspension of sentence execution.
