When asked if PASOK agrees with the government’s handling of the Middle East issue, she said: “Thank goodness the National Security Council was convened and consultations are taking place. I want to believe that at some point there will be a briefing from the Defense Minister and the Foreign Minister.”

Regarding the judicial decision on phone surveillance:
M.APOSTOLAKI: Greek society is vindicated in realizing that judges exist.
M.APOSTOLAKI: I don’t think there’s any citizen who believes that the Israeli man and his wife, Mr. Lavranos and Mr. Bitsios had set up this shadow surveillance mechanism because the four of them suddenly woke up and became interested in monitoring Mr. Androulakis, Mr. Hatzidakis and half the cabinet.
