Nikos Dendias will participate in the European Union’s Foreign Affairs Council, composed of defense ministers from member states, scheduled for Wednesday, February 11 in Brussels. Regarding the agenda, the Ukrainian crisis and the prospects for common European defense are set to be discussed. The latter, namely the European Union’s defense readiness with programs such as SAFE, will be analyzed during a working dinner on the same day. The following day, February 12, the Defense Minister will participate in the NATO Defense Ministers summit, which will also take place in the Belgian capital. During the summit, discussions will include the Alliance’s capabilities for fulfilling the defense doctrine, as well as the need to strengthen defense industrial production and capacity.
