A shocking incident occurred in Serres, when a high school teacher was arrested for gagging a student with electrical tape. According to initial reports, on Friday morning, January 23rd, during the first teaching hour, the 60-year-old teacher and school principal placed electrical tape over the mouth of a 13-year-old student, claiming he was making noise along with other classmates.
Subsequently, as reported by ERT, she allegedly ordered another 13-year-old student to tie his classmate’s hands with paper tape.
The incident was reported by the 13-year-old victim’s mother on Friday afternoon to Serres Security, with the teacher being arrested at her home shortly after. Today she has been brought before the Serres Prosecutor to give her statement.
A case has been filed against her for illegal violence and bodily harm against vulnerable persons.
