The European Parliament is “freezing” the trade agreement between the European Union and the US, as it decided to suspend the ratification process, following recent threats by Donald Trump regarding Greenland, the main political groups confirmed today, Tuesday (20.01).
Specifically, the president of the Socialists and Democrats Iratxe García Pérez, speaking to journalists, said there is a “majority agreement” among political groups to freeze the trade agreement reached last July between the US and the EU.
