On January 19, the Eurogroup will convene, with Greek president of the eurozone’s top economic body, Kyriakos Pierrakakis, making his debut in his new capacity. In the first meeting of the body, the Minister of National Economy and Finance is expected to present goals and priorities through a comprehensive proposal for eurozone economic governance, as well as a development plan, the vision for the Savings and Investment Union, the digital euro, and other reforms for the integration of EU capital and money markets.
