The case of the double murder at the Finikounda camping site is evolving into a thriller, where the 68-year-old owner and his supervisor were killed after being shot in the reception area. It’s worth noting that besides the two 22-year-olds who have been arrested and remain in custody, yesterday Wednesday (12/10) the 33-year-old nephew of the camping owner was arrested as a moral perpetrator, along with his businessman friend, who was also the employer of the young perpetrators. All this comes more than two months after the fatal night of October 5, 2025, when the double murder occurred.
The sister of the camping owner, who is the mother of the owner’s niece, spoke to Live News. With tears in her eyes, she says her brother was a very good person, and referring to the nephew’s arrest, she said he is a very good boy.
Her son and nephew of the victim declared he was surprised by the arrest of the camping owner’s 33-year-old nephew.
“The first thing Dionysis told me was not to let my mother know,” he stated characteristically.
Finikounda: Camping owner’s niece breaks down
The niece of the 68-year-old who was murdered inside his business also spoke on the Mega show. She had previously mentioned that she suspected people from her family as being involved in the murder.
She initially referred to her mother’s statement that the nephew is a good boy, saying that her mother suffers from dementia.
“My mother is on medication after her stroke. What she said today, and what my brother said too, is following the lawyers’ guidance. They’re afraid. Let me take the heat. I will continue. My father said the night of the murder that Danny killed him. Dad, are you listening to me? Don’t say what the lawyers tell you. I won’t stop,” emphasized the 68-year-old’s niece.
Regarding the inheritance, she declared: “I will fight tooth and nail for what belongs to me. And then I’ll give it to my children. Kostas took care of all of us. I want them to say what happened back then with my son.”
According to her lawyer, Katerina Fragkaki, the niece intends to proceed with lawsuits against those who accused her son.
