Just hours after the presentation of Alexis Tsipras‘s book “Ithaca,” which took place on Wednesday evening, December 3, 2025, Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis publicly commented on the attendees and notable absences at the event.
The book presentation, like the former prime minister’s work itself, was widely commented upon, with Mr. Georgiadis continuing the informal confrontation with SYRIZA through social media.
In his post on X, Adonis Georgiadis noted among other things: “SYRIZA of 2023, which received 17.7%, was nobody else!”

“Watching today’s footage from yesterday’s presentation of the book ‘Ithaca’ by @atsipras and observing who attended and who didn’t, I reached the following conclusion: Even Ms. Katerina Papakosta from the former ANEL was there. The only one who was ultimately absent was @pavpol2222. I wonder, was all this fuss necessary just to get rid of Pavlos? Otherwise, SYRIZA of 2023, which received 17.7%, was nobody else!” wrote the Health Minister.
