Seismic activity measuring 4.8 on the Richter scale was recorded at 02:08 in the early hours of Thursday (27/11) off the coast of Crete.

Specifically, according to the Revised Solution from the Geodynamics Institute of Athens, the earthquake’s epicenter was located 17 kilometers north-northwest of Sissi in Rethymno and had a focal depth of 61.4 km.
Reports indicate the seismic tremor lasted for an extended duration and was felt across most areas of the island.
