Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, responded with ironic tone to Donald Trump, assuring that Tehran’s nuclear capabilities sustained no damage from the American strikes in June. “The US President proudly claims that he bombed and destroyed Iran’s nuclear industry. Very well, keep dreaming!” wrote the Iranian leader in a post on platform X.

“Who are you to say that a country can or cannot have nuclear rights?” questioned Ayatollah Ali Khamenei during a meeting with athletes in the Iranian capital, addressing Trump, who claims that Tehran’s nuclear program has been “completely destroyed.” “These interventions are inappropriate, wrong and involve coercion,” he added.
Referring to the signing of the recent Gaza agreement, the Iranian leader said, according to state media: “Trump says he is a man of deals, but if an agreement is accompanied by coercion and its outcome is predetermined, it is not an agreement but rather imposition and intimidation.”
