American President Donald Trump has sent a new message to Israel and Hamas to end the war in Gaza. Early Sunday morning (05.10.2025), he made a post featuring a photograph from the massive rally in Hostages Square in Tel Aviv, where thousands of Israelis demanded their government accept his plan to end the Gaza war and secure the release of all captives.
The photograph was taken from above, showing the crowd holding a banner with the slogan “Now or Never.” The American president’s message to Hamas and Israel regarding the implementation of his war-ending plan could not be clearer.

This is not the first time the American president has referenced the demonstrations supporting the agreement.
Israel and Hamas begin talks in Egypt
It should be noted that today (5.10.2025) and tomorrow Monday, delegations from Israel and Hamas will hold crucial talks in Egypt regarding the release of hostages and the conditions under which the exchange will take place, according to Donald Trump’s proposal.
On Sunday (5/10/25), Israel and Hamas will hold indirect negotiations in Cairo for the release of hostages held by the Palestinian organization and Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails, as reported by Al-Qahera News, a media outlet close to Egyptian intelligence services.
The Israeli team conducting negotiations in Egypt will consist of Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, the government’s hostage affairs coordinator Gal Hirsch, Benjamin Netanyahu’s foreign policy advisor Ofir Falk, senior Shin Bet official “Mem,” and senior Mossad official “Dalet,” according to a team member who spoke to The Times of Israel.
The team will also include personnel from Mossad, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), and Shin Bet.
For his part, Trump has sent his son-in-law Jared Kushner and his chief Middle East negotiator Steve Witkoff to Egypt since Saturday.
The US president warned that he “will not tolerate delays” from Hamas, urging the organization to move quickly toward an agreement “otherwise everything will be lost.”
According to Trump, “when Hamas confirms, the ceasefire will be immediately active, the exchange of captives and prisoners will begin, and we will create conditions for the next phase of withdrawal, which will bring us closer to ending this 3,000-year disaster.”
