Specifically, Belgian Defense Minister Theo Francken stated today that drone flights were detected over a military training camp in eastern Belgium, near the border with Germany. He also emphasized that their origin remains unknown, as does their number.

Specifically, the minister, responding to a question from the RTBF television network, stated that an investigation into the incident has begun, adding: “What is certain is that multiple drones were detected by local police, from both the Belgian and German sides.” “We are verifying, we are looking at what is happening, but, for now, we do not have more details,” said a spokesperson for the Belgian Ministry of Defense regarding the incident that occurred last night above the army camp in Elsenborn, which is not far from the German border.
