Donald Trump delivered a stern message to Hamas, calling the organization “ruthless” and recalling the October 7th massacre, while setting Sunday at 6:00 PM Washington time as the final deadline for accepting a peace proposal that, as he emphasized, has already been signed by powerful regional countries along with Israel. The American president warned that if no agreement is reached, “all hell will break loose” against Hamas.
Trump: “Hamas is a violent and ruthless threat in the Middle East”
In his post, he described the organization as a “violent and ruthless threat” in the Middle East, culminating – as he said – in the “October 7th massacre,” while claiming that in retaliation, more than 25,000 Hamas fighters have already been killed and that the remaining ones “are surrounded and militarily trapped,” awaiting his order for their complete elimination.
At the same time, he addressed the civilians of the Gaza Strip, asking “all innocent Palestinians” to immediately leave areas that, in his assessment, face very high life-threatening danger and move to safer parts of the Strip, emphasizing that “everyone will be well taken care of by those preparing to help.”
Trump then announced that “large, powerful and very wealthy nations of the Middle East,” together with the United States and with Israel’s signature, have agreed on a peace plan that, as he said, “ensures the lives of the remaining Hamas fighters” and will bring “peace to the region — one way or another.”
