The moment the Greek mission ship to Gaza, “Pavlos Fyssas” was intercepted by the Israeli military is circulating in a video released by the organization March to Gaza Greece. “If you can hear me, raise your hands up,” an Israeli military member can be heard telling the people inside the ship, which was participating in an effort to deliver humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, along with 44 other vessels.
“Like pirates in the night, they threaten the crew just before the raid and kidnapping of the mission members. Last night leaves no doubt about what the state of Israel is doing. No doubt that a state that operates outside international law and treats a peaceful humanitarian aid mission in this way cannot be a ‘strategic ally’ of Greece,” March to Gaza Greece stated on Facebook. In the same post, the organization calls for mobilization today at 18:30 at Eleftherias Park, as well as in dozens of Greek cities.

“Exclusive footage from the interception of the ship ‘Pavlos Fyssas’ by the Israeli military
– Like pirates in the night, they threaten the crew just before the raid and kidnapping of the mission members.
-Last night leaves no doubt about what the state of Israel is doing. No doubt that a state that operates outside international law and treats a peaceful humanitarian aid mission in this way cannot be a ‘strategic ally’ of Greece.
– Shame on the Greek government that, faced with these events, closes its eyes, remains silent and essentially legitimizes Israeli piracy.
There is another path for societies. The path of struggle and continuous solidarity with Palestine.
We proceed today with the mobilization, 18:30 at Eleftherias Park (Megaro Moussikis metro) and in dozens of Greek cities”.
