Shock grips Turkey following the horrific murder of a 42-year-old woman by her 44-year-old ex-husband inside the private hospital in Kahramanmaras where the victim worked. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning and was captured by security cameras in the building. The woman, a mother of two, was in her office when the perpetrator burst into the area carrying a black bag. In the shocking video footage released by Turkish media, the 42-year-old can be seen running in panic trying to escape, while the 44-year-old pursues her.
According to the disturbing images, the man pulled a rifle from the bag and shot her at close range, while she had raised her hands pleading for her life. The perpetrator reportedly fired two more times before leaving the scene.
According to Turkish media, the murder was committed just one day after the unfortunate woman had secured a restraining order against her ex-husband. The perpetrator was arrested shortly after, while prosecutors have already requested a life sentence.
