The launch of a ground operation in Gaza city was confirmed by the IDF, with Israel proceeding with its plan to occupy the city, according to a related announcement by Benjamin Netanyahu. Indeed, the Israeli military issued orders for Palestinians to leave the city via Rashid Road. The IDF spokesperson, through a related post, confirms the start of the ground operation in Gaza city and calls on Palestinians to evacuate it. It should be noted that the UN committee published a related report earlier characterizing Israel’s war in Gaza as “genocide,” finding that “four genocidal acts” have been committed.
Israel: IDF has begun destroying Hamas infrastructure in Gaza city – Netanyahu confirms
Specifically, IDF spokesperson Avichay Adraee, through a related post, confirms the start of the ground operation in Gaza city and calls on Palestinians to evacuate it. “The IDF has begun destroying Hamas infrastructure in Gaza city,” writes Adraee. In the same post he adds: “Gaza city is considered a dangerous combat zone. Remaining in the area puts you at risk. Move as soon as possible via Rashid Road to the areas shown south of Wadi Gaza by vehicle or on foot. Join the 40% and more of the city’s population that has moved outside the city for their own safety and that of their loved ones.”

Indeed, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu specifically stated that he launched an “intense operation” in Gaza. “We started an intense operation yesterday in Gaza,” he said during his opening testimony in court for his ongoing corruption trial. “The State of Israel is at a critical stage of this battle and there are consequences,” he said, according to a spokesperson for the prime minister.
Gaza is destroyed.
I guess declaring war on one of the most powerful nations in the world was a bad idea, huh?

Israel: UN report on Gaza genocide is “false and distorted”
Israel characterized the report by the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry that speaks of genocide in Gaza as false and distorted. “Israel categorically rejects the distorted and false report and calls for the immediate dissolution of the Commission of Inquiry,” states the Israeli Foreign Ministry in a related announcement.
It condemns that “the report is based entirely on false claims by Hamas,” accusing its authors as representatives of the militant organization “whose horrific statements about Jews have been condemned worldwide.” The Israeli ambassador to the United Nations called the finding a “slanderous rant,” categorically rejecting its findings. The report, which also found that high-ranking Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, incited acts of genocide, is “scandalous” and “false,” said Daniel Meron from Geneva.
UN: Israel’s war in Gaza constitutes genocide
An independent investigation by a UN Committee on the Occupied Palestinian Territories concludes that Israel’s war in Gaza constitutes genocide, while also stating that the country’s top leaders “have incited genocide.” Specifically, in the 72-page report published on Tuesday (16/9), the committee, which was established by the UN Human Rights Council (HRC), found that Israel has “committed four genocidal acts” in the enclave since October 7, 2023, as reported by CNN.
These acts include the killing of Palestinians in Gaza, causing “serious bodily and mental harm” to people residing in the enclave, “deliberately imposing living conditions designed to bring about their physical destruction in whole or in part” and “imposing measures intended to prevent births within” the Palestinian population according to the report.
