A new update on the investigation into the murder of the 31-year-old activist, who was shot in cold blood, Charlie Kirk, was provided by the FBI. Less than 48 hours after the right-wing activist’s murder, 22-year-old Tyler Robinson was arrested on murder charges. Official charges have not yet been filed against the perpetrator, but tomorrow, Tuesday, September 16, he is expected to be arraigned in a Utah court.
Meanwhile, police continue their investigation into the murder that shocked the US and have now released new video showing a man believed to be Robinson in a Utah neighborhood near the university campus. The video, captured by a security camera, shows a gray Dodge Challenger passing in front of the building. This is reportedly the same car Robinson drove to the university to carry out Kirk’s murder.

More than an hour after the car’s appearance, a man believed to be Robinson walks past the crime scene. To date, however, police remain uncertain about Robinson’s exact motive.
However, Utah Governor Spencer Cox stated that the suspect held left-wing political beliefs and disliked the conservative influencer. “Clearly a left-wing ideology,” Cox said on NBC’s Meet the Press Sunday.
Cox added that Robinson “is not cooperating” and that his friends describe him as someone who was radicalized in the dark corners of the internet. “There was clearly a lot of gaming going on,” Cox said.
“His friends have confirmed that there was a kind of deep, dark web, Reddit culture and other dark places on the internet where this person was immersed.”
The governor, a Republican who called on all supporters to moderate their rhetoric after the attack, added: “I really have no interest in this fight. If it was a radicalized MAGA supporter, I would say that too.”
