The investigation into the murder of Charlie Kirk is taking new dimensions, with US authorities examining whether pro-trans groups had prior knowledge of Tyler Robinson’s plan to murder the pro-Trump activist. According to law enforcement sources cited by the New York Post, authorities are investigating whether left-wing organizations and online trans rights communities, as well as groups in Utah, helped Robinson carry out the attack or knew his plans in advance.

Specifically, this investigation focuses among other things on the gaming platform “Steam”, as well as the pro-trans organization called Armed Queers SLC, which deleted its Instagram account after Kirk’s murder on September 10. Meanwhile, a series of disturbing, though unverified, social media posts raise questions about whether some internet users knew about the planned murder of Kirk and whether Robinson acted alone or had accomplices.
Armed Queers SLC organization under scrutiny
According to the American tabloid’s report, the armed organization from Utah called Armed Queers SLC with a logo featuring two bullets similar to the one that ended Kirk’s life, had organized two years ago at the University of Utah – about 60 km from Utah Valley University, where the 31-year-old founder of Turning Point USA was killed – a lecture on “queer resistance.”
Flyers promoting the lecture – which was organized in collaboration with the self-described “leftist student organization” “Mecha de U of U” – depicted a young woman with two ammunition clips brandishing a Kalashnikov with her finger on the trigger. The same flyers include a hammer and sickle and a rainbow flag, says the New York Post.

In an interview given last year, a spokesperson for Armed Queers SLC stated that “our dedication to something greater than ourselves, to the struggle of people against racism, transphobia and capitalism is much more important than taking any risk.”
Investigation into Kirk’s killer’s motives
In recent days, as the New York Post claims, evidence has emerged showing that Kirk’s killer had been radicalized by far-left political and fringe groups online. Robinson maintained a relationship with his roommate, who was in the process of gender transition, a law enforcement source told the newspaper. Utah Governor Spencer Cox said yesterday Sunday on CNN’s State of the Union show that investigators are examining whether Robinson’s relationship may be connected to the motive for his murderous attack against Kirk. He noted that Robinson’s partner, Lance Twiggs “is cooperating incredibly” with authorities and “had no idea” about his plan.
Kirk, a harsh critic of gender identity issues such as hormone therapies for minors and trans women’s participation in women’s sports, was shot dead in the neck while answering a question about mass attacks by trans individuals. “It’s clear to us and to investigators that the perpetrator was a person deeply steeped in leftist ideology,” Utah’s governor told the WSJ on Saturday. Robinson was arrested on September 12 after a 33-hour manhunt. “We got him,” US President Donald Trump said speaking on Fox News, welcoming the suspect’s arrest.

Meanwhile, internet users are bringing to light disturbing social media posts that appear to have foreshadowed Kirk’s murder. In one of these, which the author posted on the eve of the murderous attack, he stated: “Charlie Kirk is coming to my college tomorrow. I really hope someone literally eliminates him.” Moments later, the same user in a new post accompanied by a meme with a dog smiling meaningfully, stated: “Let’s say something big will happen tomorrow.”
A few hours after the murder, a new post on the same account stated: “Charlie Kirk got shot, bro. I promise I had nothing to do with it.” Another TikTok user’s post, which appears to have been published 24 hours before Kirk’s murder, includes in the video a person with glasses and what looks like a medical cap and text stating: “Charles James Kirk, who dropped out of college, doesn’t know what awaits him tomorrow. Be ready. This is not a threat, it’s a promise.” The video was titled: “It’s going to be a BAD day for Charlie [tomorrow].”
