Charlie Kirk murder: Robinson’s online conversations that sparked outrage while FBI released photos
At the same time, authorities had already released the first blurry images of the suspect – a young man in dark clothing with a slim build – calling on the public to help locate him. The FBI had activated tracking mechanisms and declared him wanted.
In one of the controversial conversations, as revealed by The New York Times and New York Post, a Discord friend noticed his resemblance to the suspect in the photo, tagging him and writing: “wya” (“where you at?”), accompanied by a skull emoji.
Robinson, showing no concern, responded shortly after, saying that the person in the photo simply resembled him and that they were trying to “frame him on purpose.”
