Israeli media reports indicate that US President Donald Trump was informed about the planned attack and gave his approval, while two days prior, Trump issued an “ultimatum” to Hamas.
“I warned Hamas of the consequences of non-acceptance,” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform. “This is my final warning, there will be no other!”
