Meanwhile, battles between Ukraine and Russia continue. Russian officials reported that a fire broke out today after shooting down a Ukrainian unmanned aircraft (UAV) near the Kursk nuclear plant, causing damage to a transformer.

Trump sent a letter to Ukraine marking the 34th anniversary of its independence, which signifies the country’s liberation from Soviet rule, praising its courage. Additionally, he emphasized that the United States believes in its future as an independent state.
Zelensky’s message
The letter was shared on X by Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky, who also addressed his own message to citizens: “We will not lose.”
It should be noted that Chinese President Xi Jinping, King Charles, and Pope Leo XIV also sent messages for the day, which this year is marked by stagnation in peace negotiations.
