“You are visiting Russia at a difficult moment, during a sharp deterioration of the situation in the region and around your country,” the Russian president emphasized and added: “He also said that Russia is making efforts to help the Iranian people.” Putin pointed out that Russia’s position is clear and has already been officially stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representing the Russian state.
According to the relevant announcement from the Russian Foreign Ministry, Moscow unequivocally condemns the American airstrikes and calls for an immediate end to the aggression, defending the need for a return to the diplomatic path.
