Volodymyr Zelensky convened an emergency military meeting to plan new deep strike attacks against Russia, as the Ukraine war enters a critical phase. The Ukrainian president characterized these operations as “just responses” to ongoing Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory.
Strategic planning with top military leadership
The meeting included representatives from the Armed Forces, Ukraine’s Security Service, the Defense Minister, and the Secretary of the National Security Council. During the session, detailed data was presented on the effectiveness of current operations within Russian territory.
Zelensky emphasized through his Facebook post that representatives analyzed in detail the extent of damage inflicted on Russia, as well as the cost-to-result ratio of these attacks.
Optimizing long-range weapons performance
A central objective of the new strategy is maximizing the effectiveness of investments in long-range weapons systems. Ukraine’s president underscored the importance of improving the balance between investment and results in the Ukraine war.
“The balance between our investments in different types of these weapons and the achievements we accomplish must become increasingly more favorable for Ukraine,” Zelensky stated characteristically.
Zelensky: Devastating consequences for Russian military machine
Recent Ukrainian attacks have produced devastating results on Russian military infrastructure. According to Zelensky, the strikes have successfully targeted:
- Ammunition depots and military equipment warehouses
- Logistics facilities and supply lines
- Military bases from which attacks against Ukraine are launched
The Ukrainian president emphasized that Russia’s military economy and launch points for attacks have suffered extensive losses. Meanwhile, he warned that Moscow’s efforts to prolong the Ukraine war will continue to come at a high cost.
