Russia announced that its air defense forces shot down a total of 605 Ukrainian drones overnight, targeting approximately 20 regions across the country and the annexed Crimean Peninsula. “During the past night, air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 605 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles,” the Russian Ministry of Defense said in an official statement.

The attacks primarily targeted the Tver region, located approximately 180 kilometers northwest of Moscow, where a warehouse belonging to Wildberries — Russia’s e-commerce giant — suffered “minor damage,” according to local authorities.
According to Tver Governor Vitaly Korolyov, falling debris from a Ukrainian drone caused light damage to the facade of the Wildberries logistics complex in the region.

“Air defense systems repelled a hostile drone attack over our region,” Korolyov wrote in a post on Telegram. “Following the fall of debris from an unmanned aerial vehicle, the facade of the Wildberries warehouse sustained minor damage,” he clarified, adding that no injuries had been reported.
This incident is the latest in a series of Ukrainian strikes targeting Wildberries facilities. Since mid-July, Ukraine has hit around 20 warehouses belonging to Wildberries — a hugely popular e-commerce platform often described as “Russia’s Amazon” — across Russia and annexed Crimea.
Meanwhile, Mikhail Evraev, governor of the Yaroslavl region located approximately 250 kilometers north of Moscow, described the attack as the “most massive strike” ever carried out against the region, with a total of 92 drones shot down, according to his account.
Falling drone debris sparked fires in residential homes and caused damage to vehicles, Evraev added in a separate Telegram post.
More than four years into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, diplomacy remains at a standstill as both sides continue to escalate long-range strikes, resulting in a growing number of civilian casualties.
