Resigned as well is Kristin Cabot, the HR director of American technology company Astronomer, who was “caught red-handed” by the kiss cam embracing the company’s CEO during a Coldplay concert at Coldplay at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on July 16. It should be noted that her departure follows that of Andy Byron, the company’s former CEO, who resigned last week after the company announced he would be placed on leave and undergo investigation.

Both she and Andy Byron were married. Byron is married to Megan, who removed her husband’s surname from her social media profiles shortly after the incident. Kristin, on the other hand, is married to Andrew Cabot, who is a descendant of one of Boston’s wealthiest and most historic aristocratic families, known as Boston Brahmin. Specifically, Cabot is the CEO of Privateer Rum, a Massachusetts-based beverage company. He is also heir to the family fortune, which amounts to $15.4 billion.
The viral incident that exposed the affair at the Coldplay concert
It should be recalled that the viral story began when the couple appeared on the kiss cam during a Coldplay concert at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts, on July 16. The video from the Coldplay concert went viral online when the “Kiss Cam” revealed the extramarital affair between the CEO who subsequently resigned from Astronomer and his colleague.
After realizing they were on screen, the woman quickly covered her face, and the man moved out of frame. Specifically, in the online video, Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot suddenly appear on the giant screen embracing. Byron is standing behind Cabot with his arms around her waist. Coldplay singer Chris Martin commented: “Oh, look at these two.” Then the married Byron quickly removed his hands and hid behind the railing, while she covered her face with her hands. The crowd burst into laughter with Martin adding sarcastically: “Either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”
The incident went viral and became the subject of memes and ridicule on social media. According to his LinkedIn profile, Andy Byron served as CEO of Astronomer from July 2023, with the company valued at over $1.3 billion. Kristin Cabot held the position of Chief People Officer for nine months, stating that she “earns the trust of employees at all levels, from CEOs to assistants.”
