Donald Trump launched a fierce new attack against the Iranian leadership, accusing Tehran of “incredible two-facedness” in its dealings with Washington. In a post on his social media platform, the U.S. president claimed that Iran is actively seeking contact with the United States, while publicly denying that any negotiations are taking place and insisting it is only in talks with Oman.

Trump: “Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon”
Trump also challenged Tehran’s claims that it controls the Strait of Hormuz, asserting that navigation in the region is under the full control of the U.S. Navy. He stated that nothing can reach Iran without U.S. approval, and that this will remain the case until a deal is reached or, as he put it, “complete surrender.”
The U.S. president also argued that the ongoing talks are aimed at resolving a problem that, in his view, has been created by the Iranian leadership over decades.
Closing his post, Trump emphatically reiterated Washington’s longstanding position on Tehran’s nuclear program, declaring that “Iran will never obtain a nuclear weapon.”
