Iran has made clear it will not return to the negotiating table as long as the United States maintains its current stance, according to a report by Iran’s Fars news agency, citing a source with knowledge of ongoing developments.

Meanwhile, Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, published a written message on his official Telegram account, declaring that revenge for the assassination of his predecessor and father, Ali Khamenei, is “a national demand” and one that “must absolutely” be carried out.
Mojtaba Khamenei issued the message in the context of his father’s funeral ceremonies, which were held months after his death — caused by the American-Israeli airstrikes of February 28. “We are committed to avenging the blood of the martyred leader and all the martyrs of this war against the criminal and disgraced assassins,” Khamenei stated in his message.
Araghchi: “Tehran kept its word to the US — they violated the agreement with new sanctions”
Iran “kept its word” to the United States following the signing of a ceasefire agreement framework — which the American president declared to be over — Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said earlier today. “So far, Iran has kept its word,” Araghchi wrote in a post on X, accusing Washington of “violating” the ceasefire by reimposing economic sanctions against Iran.
“This violation is added to other violations and wrong steps taken by the US. Let’s be clear: there can be no respect if it is not mutual,” the Iranian foreign minister added.
Trump’s warning to Iran: “1,000 missiles are already armed if you attempt to assassinate me”
US President Donald Trump issued a new threatening message against Iran, warning that the American military is ready, willing, and able to decimate and fully destroy all areas of Iran should it attempt “to assassinate the sitting President of the United States.”
