Intercommunal clashes that erupted in Southern Syria involving the Druze have caused the displacement of more than 128,000 people, according to an announcement today by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Specifically, the IOM states in its report: “To date, a total of 128,571 people have been displaced since the start of hostilities,” clarifying that displacements from Sweida province “increased dramatically on July 19, with more than 43,000 people displaced in a single day.”
