Donald Trump is addressing the issue of inspections of Iran‘s weapons systems through a social media post. He further emphasizes that such a move would guarantee Iran’s “transparency” in the nuclear sector going forward.

Trump: Iran will agree to inspections to ensure “nuclear honesty”
In a post on Truth Social, the U.S. president states that “everyone knows very well that Iran will agree to undergo inspections of major weapons systems, in order to ensure ‘nuclear honesty’ for many years to come.”
Earlier on Monday, United States Vice President JD Vance expressed his satisfaction with the latest round of talks with Iran held at Bürgenstock, Switzerland. Vance described the meeting as significant progress and said he was optimistic that the two sides are closer than ever to reaching a final agreement on Tehran’s nuclear program. He also announced that International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors would soon be returning to Iran, with their mission focused on verifying compliance with the terms set out under the interim agreement.
