Iran warning: Maintains full control over Strait of Hormuz
Specifically, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards (IRGC) stated that any ship not complying with their directives will be considered a target, while reiterating that they maintain full control over the strategic maritime passage of the Strait of Hormuz. They also clarified that any vessel not following the designated route will face potential sanctions.
The warning follows previous Iranian statements indicating that both commercial and military vessels risk being attacked if they fail to follow the “transit regulations” imposed by Tehran.
