Donald Trump revealed that he may not be able to attend his son’s wedding in the Bahamas due to the ongoing conflict with Iran. The American president stated that he might skip his son Don Jr.’s wedding, scheduled for this weekend, explaining that the timing is “bad” particularly because of the war with Iran.
Trump: “I might not go to my son’s wedding because of Iran”
“I’d love to go. It’s going to be a small ceremony, I’m going to try to go,” Trump told reporters in the Oval Office. “I told him ‘this is not good timing for me. I have this thing called Iran and other things,'” he continued.
Donald Trump Jr., or Don Jr. as he’s known, will marry Bettina Anderson in the Bahamas this weekend, according to reports in American media. This will be his second marriage.
In this case “either way I lose. If I go, they’ll attack me. If I don’t go, they’ll attack me–the fake news of course,” Trump added.
It should be noted that Donald Trump is the father of five children from three marriages. He said, however, that he wishes his eldest son a “very good” marriage.
Donald Trump Jr., 48, runs the Trump Organization alongside his brother Eric Trump, a company that manages real estate, hotels and other assets belonging to their father. He also has various other business activities. He is a fierce supporter of his father’s politics and doesn’t rule out entering politics himself.
