A man went viral after entering the famous Trevi Fountain in Rome dressed as a monk. He was holding a sign that read: “Animals are our brothers.”
The animal rights protest was filmed by numerous tourists, who witnessed a scene that borders on the unbelievable.
The image of the monk – or the man who appeared as a monk wearing a robe – was posted on social media by the WeAreRoma page.
By the time police intervened, the scene had already gone viral.
