The Holy Fire will travel this year from Jerusalem to Cyprus via a special emergency flight operated by AEGEAN on Saturday afternoon of Holy Week, bringing the message of Resurrection and hope to every corner of the island.
Specifically, according to an announcement by AEGEAN, the flight from Tel Aviv is expected to arrive at Larnaca’s “Glafcos Clerides” airport at 5:00 PM, accompanied by representatives from the Exarchate of the Holy Sepulchre in Cyprus who will oversee the official reception and distribution to churches.
