Following false news that spread on social networks claiming that Benjamin Netanyahu had been killed in an Iranian attack, Israel’s Prime Minister published a video on X that mocks the rumor and shows he is indeed alive. Netanyahu, ordering coffee at a café in Israel, says “I’m dying… for coffee,” using a common Hebrew phrase that roughly translates to “I love something to death.”
“I love my country to death,” he says, “and the way they behave.”

Netanyahu’s messages and false claims on social media
He also raises both hands to show he has 10 fingers, following rumors that the televised press conference he gave on Thursday was an AI-generated version of himself.
One of the false claims, on anti-Israel social media accounts, was that the video from the press conference showed him with six fingers on one hand.
Netanyahu says Israelis should leave their homes to get some fresh air, but remain close to shelters. He also promises that government restrictions on activities will be lifted.
