Middle East war: US costs exceed $11.3 billion in first week
Based on the newspaper’s information, citing unnamed sources present at Tuesday’s briefing (10/3), this figure excludes various costs, such as strike preparation expenses, suggesting that the actual cost is much higher.
It should be noted that US military officials had told members of the American national delegation that weapons and ammunition worth $5.6 billion were used in just the first two days of the war, an amount much higher than previously reported by the American press.
