With persistence and patience, a 12-year-old athlete from China managed to surpass an incredible record. She achieved the most rope jumps on one foot and entered the Guinness Book of Records. This gives us another reason to admire the precision and perfection with which things are done in East Asia. This stereotype is confirmed by this little girl from China, who entered the Guinness Book by breaking the world record for the most rope jumps on one foot.

The girl is named Hou Yumo and is a rhythmic gymnastics athlete. She set the record last August, completing 274 consecutive jumps at the age of 12.
