Some climbers were not so lucky when descending Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia. Specifically, their visit did not unfold as expected, as they were caught off guard by torrential rains. A video that circulated on social media captures their harrowing experience: while following a hiking trail, heavy rainfall created a dangerous torrent, turning their descent into a real nightmare.

According to Sabah Parks, the climbers eventually crossed the trail safely after the sudden downpour caused water overflow from the plateau, using special ropes to avoid being swept away.
