Zelensky: Calls for sanctions against Russia
It should be noted that during the night, Russia launched 18 missiles and approximately 400 drones against Ukraine according to statements by Volodymyr Zelensky. The Ukrainian president called on his country’s Western allies to impose sanctions against Moscow “more quickly.” “This is clearly an escalation of terrorism by Russia,” Zelensky denounced on social media.
“Sanctions should be imposed more quickly and pressure on Russia should be sufficiently strong so that it truly feels the consequences of its terrorism,” added the President of Ukraine.
It is emphasized that two people lost their lives in the Ukrainian capital during this specific Russian nighttime air raid, announced the head of Kiev’s military administration. “Unfortunately, we have two dead. These people were murdered by the Russians,” Timur Tkachenko stated via Telegram, shortly after reporting 13 wounded.
