After days of effectively disrupted ship passage through the Strait of Hormuz, Iran has officially announced its closure. The Revolutionary Guards threaten to “set fire” to any vessel attempting to pass through.
Since Saturday, when the war began, only Iranian and Chinese ships have been passing through the strait, while dozens of others have been forced to change routes or remain trapped in the Persian Gulf.
