The wife of Ali Khamenei reportedly succumbed to her injuries, according to the Iranian Mehr news agency. It should be noted that Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh was injured in the same US and Israeli airstrike that killed her husband.

Mansoureh reportedly passed away two days after the death of her husband, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, at their residential compound in Tehran.
Who was Ali Khamenei’s wife, Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh
Mansoureh Khojasteh Bagherzadeh married Khamenei in 1965 and had four sons and two daughters during their marriage, according to the Daily Mail. Believed to be 79 years old, she quietly supported him without taking any official role in Iran’s leadership, avoiding cameras.
When asked in a rare interview with state media in 2011 about her role in Khamenei’s struggle against the Shah, she responded according to the Daily Mail: “I think my greatest role was maintaining a calm atmosphere in our home, so he could do his work peacefully. Sometimes I would visit him in prison without telling him about our problems. In response to his questions about us, I would only give him good news.”
“Of course, I actively participated in distributing leaflets, carrying messages, and hiding documents, but I believe (these actions) are not worth mentioning,” she had said. When asked if her husband helped her at home, she replied: “He doesn’t have time (to help) and I don’t expect him to. An admirable characteristic of his, which could serve as an example to others, is that although he often returns home tired from work, he does what he can to keep work problems away from home.”
