More than 10 billion euros to help the war-torn country were pledged by participants at the conference for Ukraine’s economic recovery, held today in Rome, as announced by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
“I believe we should be proud of the result we achieved today together – nations, international organizations, financial institutions, local authorities, the business sector and civil society,” the Italian Prime Minister stated characteristically in her opening speech at the conference.
“Together, at today’s conference, we have undertaken commitments that amount to a total of more than 10 billion euros,” Meloni emphasized.
