The fact that Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei is now dead has been celebrated by young Iranian activist Morticia Addams, who went viral when she lit a cigarette using a photograph of Khamenei as a lighter. In her post on “X”, Morticia Addams – who uses a pseudonym – published a video showing her celebrating at an anti-Iranian regime rally in Canada, where she lives.
“I told you we would dance on your grave, didn’t I?” Addams wrote in the post’s caption. In another post, she appears to be clinking glasses in celebration of his death.
It should be noted that Addams went viral in January when a video showed her lighting a cigarette using a photograph of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei as kindling. The moment became a symbol of online solidarity among Iranian women supporting anti-regime demonstrations taking place in Iran.
