Global concerns are intensifying over the situation in the Middle East following the attack launched by the United States and Israel against Iran earlier today (28/02). Specifically, thousands of travelers have been stranded in Dubai following the indefinite suspension of flights due to the US-Israel military operation against Iran and Tehran’s retaliation against Gulf countries.
Among them are 25 Greeks at Sharjah airport, who are awaiting instructions for their return. According to footage circulating online, passengers can be seen waiting in departure lounges, sitting in chairs or even on the floor. The developments caught them by surprise, as they did not manage to leave the area in time.
So far, it remains unknown when normal flight operations will be restored and what will be the fate of thousands of passengers of various nationalities who remain stranded, waiting for further instructions for their escape from the war zone.
